What it's like to join the Crealy Crew: A Case Study

Ahead of our 2018 Recruitment Fair, we chat to a member of our Team to provide more detail about what it's like to work here and how he has carved his career during his time as part of the Crealy Crew.

Let's meet Simon, one of our Duty Managers. 

How long have you worked at Crealy?

I have worked at Crealy Adventure Park & Resort for 9 years, starting in September 2008.

Which department do you work in?

When I first started working at Crealy, I was positioned in the Gift Shop and Admissions before moving across departments and joining the Photography Team.

When I turned 18 years old I moved on to the Rides and Attractions Team. As my role within this department progressed, I soon became a Team Leader.

I have since become a Duty Manager at Crealy Adventure Park & Resort, leading to more responsibility. One of the great things about working at Crealy is the career progression that is available.

What do you love the most about your job?

I enjoy meeting new people, guests and fellow team members. I also enjoy watching the Resort grow and improve each year as well as overcoming the challenges that this presents to ensure a great experience for our guests.

What is it like to work for Crealy? I.e. career development, benefits, and the wider team.

Crealy is a great place to work as each department offers a fun environment and unique perspective. The career progression offered has helped me learn a range of skills and seen me grow more confident as a person.

Throughout my time with Crealy, I have developed my communication skills whether that’s communicating with team members or guests. I believe that working at Crealy has enabled development and me to learn a range of skills across multiple departments.
