Reasons to visit Crealy this Summer

It’s getting warmer and warmer outside and you’re already looking forward to your summer holidays, but you don’t know where to spend them? Here are five reasons, why you should come to Crealy in the summer!

1. Make a splash on our Water Rides

Especially in July and August it can be really hot, so you might like to have a fresh cooling. All you have to do is visit our Theme Park and have fun at one of our water rides. If you like the combination of water and speed then Vortex or Tidal Wave Log Flume fit you perfectly.

You’ll have the time of your life, when you’re racing down Vortex. The World’s first water coaster consists of three slides: the Viper, Vertigo and Venom.

The Tidal Wave Log Flume will take you high above the tree line, before it’ll drop you 40 feet into the pool of water below! But if you prefer to have it a bit more slowed down, you can use our Aqua Blasters and fire your very own fast pumping water cannon. Whatever you choose, you’ll make a splash for sure!

2. Cool down on our outdoor rides

If you want to escape the heat, but you don’t want to get wet, you have to try out our other outdoor rides. Maximus Rollercoaster or The Twister will make your body cool down by airstream, while you’re making your way down the track. Maximus is the ultimate ride through history. You‘ll feel like an ancient Roman, when you’re driving through Old Exeter, or Isca as it was known then.

The Twister is the perfect ride for the whole family. It’s able to seat up to four people and will make you scream for sure, when you’re racing down the track in a spinning car at a blistering 30mph. You’ll see, cooling down can also happen by nature, it doesn’t necessarily need water!

3. Have some indoor fun

An opportunity for even escaping the sun is our indoor play area. Especially the younger children will love to play in our Adventure Zone or in the Lost World of Atlantis. Within the Adventure Zone multiple slides, climbing nets and rope swings will wait for you. The Lost World of Atlantis features four rides and an indoor play area.

If you’re not that young anymore you can just let your kids, siblings, cousins, … have a great time, while you’re having a refreshing drink in our Adventurers Food Court, the Sandcastle Family Beach Bar or at the Lavazza coffee shop.

4. Enjoy our resort

Crealy is more than just a Theme Park. We also offer the opportunity to stay for a longer time at our Resort. Here you can chose between traditional camping, modern glamping tents and luxury hot tub lodges.

In 2018 we launched our new Beach House Lodges. These luxurious cabins will give you the ultimate summer feeling. Brand new for this year, we have launched our new hot tub lodges The Escape and The Retreat giving you and the family a truly unforgettable stay in Devon!

Regardless of whether you’re camping, glamping or staying in one of our lodges, you won’t be bored as you can visit our Theme Park, have a session of Adventure Golf, play football or have a chill at the clubhouse, which hosts a great selection of evening entertainment during the Devon school holidays. However you decide, summer vibes will be around you.

5. Visit the spectacular Hydro High Dive Show

Between 22nd July and 1st September the breath-taking Hydro High Dive Show will amaze you every Monday to Saturday 10:00 - 17:30. Direct from the USA, this stunt show is sure to let you remain with your mouth wide open! Prepare to be stunned as you watch our stuntmen jump from heights of 80ft into the pool below!

Back by popular demand, The Hydro High Dive Show has a fireman theme this year. You’ll see a cast performing synchronised dives, comedy dives and divers ignited in flames as they fly through the air into a pool less than five metres deep!
