Burial chambers discovered empty at Crealy’s Creaky Hotel

Whilst carrying out routine maintenance work ahead of this year’s Halloween celebrations, workers at Crealy Adventure Park & Resort have found what are believed to be Roman burial chambers.

The discovery was made this week when a team of workers were digging in the grounds of the park’s Creaky Hotel.

Following the mysterious discovery, Crealy contacted expert ghost searching team Spook Searches to ask for their assistance. Whilst at the site, the experts were baffled to discover that the burial chambers were empty, with Head Spook Searcher, Chris Watson, stating,

‘We are puzzled that the burial chambers are empty. Structures of this age would not have been and we believe the inhabitants have taken up residence in the nearby Creaky Hotel’. 

Spook Searches specialise in ghostly discoveries and are experts in locating escaped inhabitants of burial chambers throughout the UK. It had been thought that the only remaining burial chambers in the area were in Exeter City Centre, so this latest discovery has got experts wondering if any others may be lying unfound in the region.

‘The discovery of the empty burial chamber has come as a big surprise to all of us at Crealy Adventure Park & Resort. We’re certain that all of the inhabitants of the chamber are enjoying their stay at the Creaky Hotel but we would like to call on as much local support as possible to help find them, so we can return them to the chamber’.  

Spook Searches has requested additional help from the public in finding all the residents of the burial chambers during what is a particularly busy time for the team.

Crealy would like to reassure the public that the inhabitants are friendly but are likely to be a little confused by the new world they’ve found themselves in.
