Cleaning Supervisor - Fixed Term

We are looking for a highly motivated experienced Cleaning Supervisor with a passion for maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and with a keen eye for detail, to manage our Park Services Team, alongside our Park Services Manager.

You will be supervising a team of cleaners on our Theme Park, always ensuring the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness standards. Along with training and providing on-going support to the team you will personally act as an ambassador throughout the day, helping to create first-class experiences for our guests.

• Ensure full compliance across the department in accordance with Health and Safety regulations including the handling of chemicals, use of machinery, manual handling and lone working policies.
• Stock control, auditing and ordering using purchase order system
• Work directly with a team of up to 25 cleaners to ensure full training, development and on-going mentoring
• Hands-on, front-line operational duties as required
• Perform regular facility audits, ensuring cleanliness, presentation and maintenance standards are to a high level
• This role offers varied support to the rest of the operational departments across the resort, including our Engineering/Maintenance, Rides, Grounds and Food & Beverage teams
• Excellent attention to detail and superb leadership skills are essential for this role

• Adept in communicating with both employees and customers and able to perform well under high business demand
• Be physically able to be on your feet for extended periods whilst walking across the Theme Park litter picking, rolling large bins, or restocking toilet facilities
• Able to lead by example
• Able to meet the physical challenges of the role
• Flexible to work varied hours (between 7.00am-11.00pm) throughout the year. This role also requires the successful candidate to work weekends, bank holidays and in school holidays.

Skills & Experiences:

• Experience of leading/supervising a team
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in cleaning/janitorial/custodian role [preferable but not essential]
• Knowledge and understanding of safety and risk management control systems including formulation of training and safety procedures
• Great organisational skills
• An ability to drive standards throughout both the theme park and resort
• Full driving licence (essential)
