25th Feb 2026

Pirates' Plummet Construction Update 26.2.26

We’re beyond excited to share a major milestone in Crealy’s 2026 season — Pirates’ Plummet, the South West’s tallest drop tower, has now been successfully installed. Standing tall and dominating the skyline of the Park, this thrilling new experience promises unforgettable family fun.

The installation of Pirates' Plummet

After what felt like endless rain, the sunshine finally made a welcome appearance - and it couldn’t have arrived at a better time! Blue skies set the perfect scene as we got ready to build something BIG.

One by one, the two remaining pieces of Pirates' Plummet were carefully slotted into place, and with every lift the tower stretched higher and higher. It was such an exciting moment watching it grow before our eyes - each new section bringing us closer to the finished ride and those all-important first drops.

The ride operator booth is being given its pirate-inspired makeover, complete with weathered textures and cracked stone effects. With every detail added, the whole area is coming to life. The ride itself is yet to painted with its final colour scheme.
